My whole family had lunch here yesterday. The food was pretty good. My tuna was supposed to be medium and it was a little overdone but was still good. The crab fingers were all gone and every one enjoyed them. Our waiter was nice about the mess the kids were making on the floor and joking around with us. The kids were cracking up and one of the waiters stopped to tell us how well the kids were acting and the first table he had seen in a long time having such a good time. I would come back next time I'm in the area.

Really enjoyed dinner here. Little loud but it's due to the family atmosphere of the building. Lots of families enjoying dinner together. The fried cheese appetizer is very good, made in house, large portion serving. We mixed it up with a ribeye, jumbo shrimp and snow crab claws. We really liked the corn fritters as a side with the veggies. Good restaurant to bring the kids, would come here again

Every time we eat there, it gets worse. We've been eating here for over six years. What used to be excellent has moved through mediocre and into bad. Costly. Bad. We have given up on them. I suggest you move on.
(2)Cindy P.
We ate at Mikees last night while visiting Gulf Shores Alabama. The service was terrible. We were seated in a corner and forgotten about. I finally waved down a waiter and asked if we could be helped. The waitress we had did not know items on the menu. we had an appetizer of class and they were tough. The oysters were okay. End of the evening we said been there done that now let's move on. Will not go back.

We've been here 7 days. We eat out a lot and know good cooking. Do not miss out on Mikee's. Crab legs were awesome! Best steak says Doug. He's a steak eater! Get the skillet vegetable....yum yum! Delicious! By far the best restaurant in Gulf and we've eaten at different places every night.
(5)Patricia G.
Very good if you are in the area you have to have the fried grouper and new potatoes
(5)Rachael S.
I thought the food was great! The portions were good was fresh and came out got the salad was amazing and staff was very friendly! We did have a wait when we got there but being that it was Labor Day weekend we expected this and even thy wasn't to bad . I do think our waitress was new be she seemed to be very overwhelmed and didn't stop at our table as often as she should but it was a very busy night so I wouldn't even say that would prevent us from going again. However it is a very small building that can get very crowded and loud so if u are looking for less crowded and quite this probably wouldn't be you're best choice but it is worth trying and the food is great
(4)Devi M.
Alicia was a fantastic server. Food was absolutely delicious. This IS a loud family friendly place, don't expect to have a quiet romantic dinner. This place is all about fun, family and great food. The jumbo shrimp were the freshest we've had every time we've come to GS. Crab cake was fresh and very well seasoned. The ribeye took up the whole plate and Molly's chicken PoBoy was enough for 3 people. Definitely will return to Mikee's!
(5)Andrea C.
This is our favorite place in Gulf Shores. Sure, it has an old school dive-y atmosphere, but I come here for food, not decor. The seafood is fresh. The service is good. The prices are awesome. I have never left here disappointed and we often will come twice during w week vacation here. Don't believe the low number of great reviews on this place. The happy customers are too busy eating to type a review! I send all my friends to Mikee's.
(5)Nanner E.
We ate here for the first time this vacation, the food was good but not the best around. Everyone was happy with their food and there wasn't any wait to be seated. No complaints but not outstanding either.
(3)Travis P.
Our first time to visit Mikee's on our vacations in Gulf Shores. The service was great and the food was awesome! Just had to wait a little bit on a refill but they were very busy for a Friday night. Restaurant has tight seating and could use a little more lighting but overall a good place for seafood.
(4)Chris W.
First experience at Mikee's this summer. Hands down some of the best service I have ever had at any restaurant. The young man serving us was super friendly and attentive! I would go back for the service alone. The food was good. Not the best food I've enjoyed at the beach but very good. My wife and son out ordered me with the shrimp special but my pecan cursted redfish was very good. The decor is dated... and the step up to the section we sat in was a hazard for sure... This is not the newest trendiest place at the beach but we enjoyed good food and excellent service. We will be back!
(4)Camille W.
It was good. Tried for lunch, walked right in. Meet some friends, so we ended up with 8 and still no problem. First opinion, it was dark but it was clean. Maybe it was dark to hide something idk. We ordered a wide variety of the menu and it was all good except the key lime pie and the chicken fingers the kids ordered. It tasted like a bad version of mrs smiths' frozen pie. The crab claws where pretty good and well priced as were the Royal reds! I think I still like the shrimp basket better. However, I'm not sure there is much difference since they are owned by the same ppl.
(4)Jason H.
This is my favorite restaurant. Anywhere. Ever. The fish is always great, I've never had a bad meal here.
(5)Kyle K.
Family stopped here for dinner last night with our freshly caught red snapper. Alex was our waiter and was awesome. We ordered our snapper pan grilled and sauted. We had greens, potatoes, fries, hush puppies, and fritters for sides. The food was great, especially our snapper. My wife is not a fan of fish but between the freshness of us catching it a couple hours earlier and the way it was prepared, she ate more fish for dinner than the rest of her life. Good stuff!
(5)David K.
I have mixed feelings. The restaurant is loud and crowded. The decor is right out of the 1970s. The night we were there, they had some sort of staffing problem and were behind on everything. The food was pretty good. The Beef tips were a little greasy and salty. The baked beans were great. The hush puppies were excellent as were the fried okra and corn fritters. The steamed shrimp were good, but were not deveined.
(3)Kia K.
First time there and food was horrible. Fries cold and the did bring more but they looked like they were cooked in old cooking oil. We waited a very long time for food and everyone food was cold. Just what were we waiting on not hot food. Will never go back. Too expensive to get cold food.
(1)Regina B.
Can't say enough great things about this place. Great food great service. Oysters are some of the best. Love It
(5)Brook S.
I can not express how enjoyable our experience really was, "BOTH" times that we went during our vacation. The EJ oysters are a must try, and the crab claws are Devine. Our server, well, he was a doll. So friendly and accommodating to our every need. It is off the beaten path and the decor could use an update, but who really cares when the food is that good! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting great seafood.
(5)Jona G.
Every summer my family goes to gulf shores/orange beach, AL. We try new seafood restaurants every time. This one was a very kid friendly restaurant and had great atmosphere. My food was excellent, but you really can't go wrong with seafood on the coast.
(4)Adam C.
Odd little place tucked away just off the main road.Decor is something that would give chef Ramsay nightmares. Mostly fried food from what we could tell.Felt like a diner or your local pizza joint. Food was nothing to speak of, not bad but not particularly good either. French loaf burger was calling my name and it did not disappoint. If you like all fried seafood, give it a shot. I prefer more flavor especially with seafood and frying everything makes it all taste the same at some point.
(2)Krista B.
My son and I visit Mikee's every time we visit Gulf Shores, and we are never disappointed. On our most recent visit, Drew and I stopped in at lunchtime on a Saturday and were pleased to find that there was no wait! We were seated immediately and greeted by our energetic server. He took our drink orders and gave us a moment to peruse the menu. We started with an order of the fried cheese and a side of marinara sauce. The appetizer came out piping hot, and the cheese sticks were huge. I only had a couple for fear I'd be full before I received my entrée. (Don't worry, Drew took up the slack and finished the app for both of us!) Our entrées came out quickly and were nice and hot. Drew had ordered a ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and was absolutely gigantic. Seriously, it covered the entire dinner plate. His side of new potatoes had to be brought in a separate bowl. I opted for the fried fish and shrimp combination, which was served with French fries and hush puppies. The seafood was delicious; it was seasoned perfectly and the breading was nice and crisp. Our server kept our glasses filled, and checked in on us periodically, but didn't hover as some servers tend to do. (I think he enjoyed watching Drew's progress toward finishing that ribeye...we ended up taking leftovers home.) Mikee's Seafood doesn't look like a lot from the outside. Even once you walk in, you'll see it's typical seafood restaurant décor. However, the yummy food and excellent service set Mikee's apart from the typical tourist trap restaurants in Gulf Shores. We highly recommend it for your next beach trip!
(4)Michael M.
I couldn't stop eating because the food was too good. Service was exceptional and wait time was short. Couldn't ask for better.
(5)Joe C.
Food was good and fresh. The fried green tomatoes were a good addition to my lunch but the sauce seemed a bit of contrast to the breading and took away from the flavor. The fried shrimp was large and tasted great. The fried whitefish was pretty good, but I'd like to have seen bigger pieces. The staff was nice to me even though my order was to go.
(4)KJ V.
Fish is fresh off the boat and cooked to perfection. Corn fritters are delicious and my Bahana Mama drink was awesome!
(4)Kim M.
I wanted to like this restaurant but the food I think for the most part was frozen! The Mike's oysters were the best part of the meal! The fries was cold and frozen right out of a bag! The grilled fish was horrible could not even eat! So I would say go to another place in Gulf Shores! We now would only eat at a chain you know what you are getting!
(2)Tawnya W.
Terrible food except the oysters and terrible service. However they had the best Bushwackers!!!
(3)Josh W.
Came on a Friday afternoon around 2:00. Seated immediately with prompt service. Our entire table got shrimp, which was excellent. We had corn fritters, hush puppies, and grilled veggies to split. We were very pleased with the food and drinks. Corey was our server and he was very courteous and quick with our everything. Only complaint is that the place was a little too dark inside. Highly recommend this restaurant.
(4)Tyler W.
We had the soft shell crab appetizer, oysters, sautéed shrimp and red snapper. The soft shell crab was horrible but the oysters tasted great but it's hard to mess up fresh raw oysters. The crab had so much breading on it that you couldn't taste the meat and it was very salty. The shrimp was also very good but once again it's very hard to mess up fresh shrimp. On to the red snapper once again I found it to be overly salted but still decent. The service is why I am not giving this place 3 stars because it sucked! The sever was extremely rude and she forgot half of our sides, then was rude once we told her we didn't want the second side because we had already finished eating by the time she checked on us. I know this is a tourists town but I also found the place very over priced for the size of the meal. I wouldn't recommend going here at all not even for the shrimp or oysters because you can get that quality at any place along the coast. Service is a big thing for me and quality for the dollar. The service was horrible and the quality was sub par. I would have given them 3 stars if it wasn't for the horrible service.
(2)Jamie W.
Gumbo was tomato based rather than true rou based! Fish sandwich was very greasy not too great of a meal!!!
(3)John H.
We had a big group of tired travelers and we really enjoyed our dinner. Ashlee was a good start at the bar and then they were able to seat our table of 9 very quickly. We were all very pleased with our dinners and the service was great considering our size and it being a Friday night. Not a formal setting, but perfect for what we were looking for. I'd recommend to anyone looking for some good seafood in a very low-key place.
(5)Ronnie B.
Never had a bad meal and always have had good servers. Can get crowded and it can get a little loud but what it lacks in other areas the food and service takes up the slack.
(5)Rachael W.
I have literally been going to Mikee's since I was born (I'm now 26). I have NEVER had such a great experience as I had last week. We called and put our names on the list, but showed up about a half hour early but didn't mind having to wait because we could get one of their amazing daiquiris. However, we walked in and were taken right to a table. We ordered daquiris and oysters and they were promptly brought to us when our amazing waiter Joe came back to take our order. As soon as we finished up our oysters, our salads were ready. As soon as we finished up our salads, our entrees were ready. Everything was impeccably timed. There was no waiting for the next course or overlap. You weren't having to watch your entree get cold while you finished your salad. Joe, our server, was friendly, genuine and on top of everything. We could not have asked for a better experience!
(5)Jennifer S.
The food here is pretty good. Fresh seafood can't be beat! I ordered the catch of the day, which was a choice of about 5 or 6 different types of fish. I selected snapper, pan grilled with Captain Ed's sauce, which was like a lemony hollandaise, but not too lemony. It was served over fluffy rice with two hushpuppies & two corn fritters. Comes with a salad to start. I got the house dressing, which was an olive vinaigrette & had chopped pecans in it. So good! I left full. All that with an iced tea came to less than $25!
(5)Deb Q.
Great dinner for al large group. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was thorough and polite. All you can eat crab legs Sunday and Wednesday good deal. Will be back
(4)Jeremy A.
This place was fantastic... not overly fancy inside or out... busy but patience is a virtue... all types of seafood cooked anyway you could imagine... sides were to die for... I went with the catch of the day Captain Ed style, hush puppies & corn fritters (which come with meals), and 2 sides which I chose okra (tasted fresh not frozen and mushy inside) and potato salad (recommended by the waitress tasted like a loaded baked potato)... everything was amazing... other hits at the table were scallops, coconut shrimp, and alfredo... highly recommend for a casual dinner especially for the price.
(4)Brian C.
Was a Monday night the wait was shorter than the 25 min we were told. The service was on top of it. The food was great tasting.
(4)laura m.
We went in to try the shrimp, because no one knows how to cook shrimp down they have all been mush. Either way there was a miscommunication, they never came. No big deal. My NY Strip was fantastic perfectly seasoned perfect color. My husbands chicken dish was also great . Let me tell ya, they were packed the waitstaff was on top of it! Oour server (Liz) was prompt courteuos and on the ball. Will gladley go back!!
(4)Dion A.
I had my doubts at first and I should've stuck with them. The bar was too small and the dining area was totally outdated. The condiments on the table were so old that the color started fading. The bathroom was the size of a small closet and was completely filthy. Plus it's the place that our server decided to hide for 30 minutes while on his phone. My wife was satisfied with her all-you-eat catfish and corn fritter. But mines SUCKED!!! I had the all-you-eat over cooked clam strips and cold fries. Our server attitude sucked and the manager act as if he didn't care. We will never go back.
(1)Charles C.
Wait staff...awesome! Ranch dressing...super awesome! Family of 16 and the entire party of kids and adults were very pleased with the seafood, appetizers, drinks and the whole experience! Thank you for a great time with wonderful food! Especially scallops!
(5)Nicole L.
Great fried pickles! great atmosphere! great staff and love what I ate! it's a great spot to enjoy good food and have a great time with friends!
(3)Jonathan T.
Is there an option for zero stars? Ordered the royal reds and snow crab legs. The crab and royal reds came out around fridge temp and the sides never delivered. I'm not one to complain about service, but the manager seemed to think he made up for the food by bringing one of my sides out 45 minutes later. Following this, we had to argue with the owner/mgr about not charging us for items we never received. DO NOT EAT HERE!!
(1)Laura D.
Crowded place not comfortable seating. Scallops were good. Husbands steak rotten tasting and daughters catfish tasted like mud. 6 bucks for a NON alcohol daiquiri in a 12 oz cup. $80 wasted nothing was done about steak btw
(1)Charlotte T.
The tables are crowded a little too closely together but the food and service are great, it's loud enough that nobody notices a cranky toddler, and the all you can eat platters are an amazing deal. I was suspicious of the tail-less shrimp, thinking they must be frozen and imported. They were pretty good but the real stars of the show were the corn fritters (so yummy) and OMG the potato salad--made with sour cream and pork broth, it's rich and creamy and refreshingly cool. Our server was friendly and attentive and we were seated with no wait on a Saturday night. Can't beat that with a stick.
(4)Stephanie W.
Atmosphere was really dark, we had to get our phones out to read menu. Service was friendly but forgetful. Food was mediocre too many other good restaurants to waste time here.
(2)Karly D.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The restaurant looks very outdated inside and out. It's very dark and only 3 windows. We didnt stay long enough to eat because the whole place smelled really bad. It was a weird pee/ammonia like smell. I don't know what the food tastes like because we couldn't get past the smell.
(1)Shane Heather B.
The only good part was the corn fritters. They charge the same price for a strawberry daiquiry weather it had alcohol or not, then told us we had to tip on ordering drinks of that nature. Also, it's so dark in there you almost have to bring a flashlight to dinner with you. I tried this place a second time and there was no change. I havent been back and probably wont return.
(2)Johnny A.
Great for groups & kids. Loud, bustling, and kitschy ambiance. Key Lime pie is excellent, my favorite of the Shores. Tart & fresh, no heavy whipped cream. For price, food was tasty & high volume. Pretty basic fare & standard fried batter. I thought coconut shrimp & fried green tomatoes were highlights.
(4)Gary S.
Food decent though a little over priced. Loud and crowded. Felt like we were packed in like sardines
(3)Scott M.
Casual atmosphere. Very good food. We got gumbo, fried shrimp and crab claws. All tasted great. Slightly slow, but it was very busy. Showed up at 7:45 and waited for maybe 10 minutes. I will eat here again and recommend you try it.
(4)Sharon M.
OK, while I have reviewed Mikee's before with a 4 star, our recent experience was quite a bit different. While the food was good, the bathrooms were absolutely horrendous, which in turn, made us not want to eat our dinner. My husband went to the manager to let him know the state of the bathrooms, and he said he would spray some air freshener, like it was no big deal. THIS WAS AT 5:00 PM BEFORE the crowd started coming in!!! Just think how bad it got over the evening. EW!! Not going back because the new manager sucks!!
(2)Dan M.
We received a recommendation that this would be a great place to go to for food. We went for lunch. I had a shrimp po- boy which was average probably due to an average amount of shrimp on the sandwich. I, like many people, I think, like tartar sauce and cocktail sauce with my sandwich. The sandwich came with cocktail sauce but had to ask for the tartar sauce. Overall an ok place but would probably not return since I felt the sandwich was average.
(3)Katherine L.
The strawberry daiquiri was good. The waitress was super nice. The ribeye was horrible, no seasoning what so ever. Fried pickles were good. "New potatoes" were bland as well. If you're looking for well seasoned, tasty food, this is not the place for you.
(1)Kevin K.
The food was pretty good, if a little greasy, but I ordered a combination with all fried items, so that's to be expected. I found it a little too crowded and loud, so it was hard to enjoy the food.
(3)Megan V.
I tried oyster for the first time and the raw oyster along with fried was amazing. Big portions. Nice staff. Wait wasn't too long.
(4)Tony P.
Had not planned to eat here but ended up here for lunch with a party of six. The low rating is less about the food and more about service and ambiance. We arrived about 11:30 and saw only one other couple (kinda scary). I really wanted to turn around and leave but I had five more people with me who didn't seem as skeptical (mostly because everyone was really hungry). The lobby had a bad odor and the place looked pretty ragged. The temperature went from too warm to too cold after about 10 minutes, and the music was way to loud for the type of restaurant (I could barely hear the waiter and had to ask him to repeat often). The server was very slow, especially with the check-actually I had to go request the check. As for the food, everyone was happy with their food, however we were all very hungry after getting up early for a dolphin cruise and having no breakfast. My salad was too wet and the house made blue cheese dressing was too bland and seemed watered down (probably from the wet salad). I had the grilled shrimp Alfredo and really enjoyed it.
(2)J F.
Walked away regretting the $35 I just spent on dinner. Felt dirty, and just wasn't very good. Waitress took forever on small requests. Won't return here.
(1)Kari K.
Great place for kids. Didn't have to worry about them being too loud. Food was great and our server was attentive and funny. Good Bloody Mary.
(4)Jeremy S.
Always a good time at Mikee's, great place to be with family and friends. Food is always good, staff is always the best. Good place to enjoy the day and have a good time.
(5)Elaine M.
There were so many things wrong with this place that I don't even know where to begin. I should start out by stating that being from New Orleans, most of our restaurants know good/fresh seafood and how to cook it right. I wish that I could just say we must have ordered the wrong thing but everything else was messed up from the second we walked in the door. Restaurants in Gulf Shores must cater more towards snowbirds. Therefore many of them don't need to stay open late and they close at 9pm. After finding this out the hard way at two other restaurants we came across Mikee's. My husband & I went in, and before trying to get a table, we wanted to make sure that it would still be open, seeing as it was already 8:50. There was no one at the door, we waited a while before I turned to a busser and asked the hours. He clearly didn't speak English so he just shook his head and ignored me. The bartender must have seen this exchange from the midst of her tiny bar, packed with 20 something, collar popped- obnoxiously drunk guys, and she hollered at us, "11 o'clock!" We got a server's attention next so we could grab a table. She asked first if we had a reservation, once we told her no she said she needed to go make sure there wasn't a wait. She left us and fled through the small narrow room full of empty tables. Seriously? We waited a while more before she finally came back and sat us. We spent so much time waiting for our own server, we noticed there were these blank canvas looking panels that hung from the ceiling in rows. Not sure why they were there and neither did our server who finally popped up after about 15 minutes. We decided to play it safe and just get fried seafood. My husband is allergic to shrimp so he asked what the "whitefish" on the menu was. Our server told us she had no idea but in her opinion it was better than the catfish. So he ordered it, turns out it was more like a glorified fishstick than anything else. I don't even want to know what the catfish is like! My shrimp was definitely not fresh and everything else that came with the platter (and was clearly all fried together) was haphazardly piled on top which left my measly shrimp drowning in grease at the bottom. We both chose the fries as our side which we realized half way through our meal, they must have been out of because they substituted them for a ridiculous amount of tiny, pre-frozen okra slices. Also the hush puppies and corn fritters that came with both of our plates were not cooked all the way through... Ok, I could go on and on about more things that this restaurant has going wrong for them but I won't. I will just say that it was by far the worst waste of $70, for two platters and 2 beers. I didn't think I could even write a review about how crappy this experience was but I feel like people should be warned. The other reviewers here either have extremely low standards or caught them on a very, very good day and under different management.
(1)Benny S.
Have never missed a trip to Mikee's while staying in GS. But, I wish this had been the first time to do so. Fried shrimp tasted like it came out of a wet, frozen, cardboard box from Walmart. Hush Puppies were good. Fritter's tasty. Salad was too big for the small bowl it was in. Ate as much salad off the table as I did from the bowl after I tried to mix the dressing in. I think the owners went on vacation and left the kid's in charge and I think the kid's wanted to go too, but were stuck with having to work. One bad experience will not keep me from coming back.
(2)Jill L.
I was looking for great local fish, but didn't care about the ambiance. Well, this place fit both! Great fish & no ambiance! :) I got the fresh catch Trigger fish, pan grilled. Delicious! Husband got the fresh catch Mahi Mahi, pan grilled. Delicious! We tried a cup of the black bean soup and Gumbo as appetizers. Delicious! And this is coming from Cajuns! Hard to find restaurant gumbo as good as home made - this came REALLY close! Server was pretty uninformed as to recommendations, but was eager to please and asked her manager anything she couldn't answer. Although we were a little leery about going in because of the building design and decor, we left with our palates extremely satisfied! Would definitely go back!
(4)Todd L.
When we visit Gulf Shores we always go to Mikee's at least once if not more. The coconut ship is my wife's favorite. They have a great selection of seafood and the service is good. Whenever any of my friends ask us where to go eat with in Gulf Shores we always suggest Mikee's and they always thank us later.
(5)Candice M.
My husband liked his fried seafood platter, but I didn't care for the crab cakes I ordered. The drink I ordered was awful. The place smells like a deep fryer, so don't go unless you're ok with that. Service was good even though they were slammed. If you're in the mood for fried everything, you'll probably like it.
(2)R S.
Tuesday all you can eat whitefish! $9.99 two sides such a great bargain and classic southern fried fish meal. This joint is a sister property to Shrimp Basket a block away, very similar menu only Mikee's has additional pasta dishes with seafod. I do like Shriimp Baskets hush puppies better however. Might just have been the batch I didn't like however.
(4)Jamie T.
Absolute disaster of a restaurant.. from the 60 people crammed into the "lobby" to the hateful waitress who gave us a 25 min wait time. One and a half hours later we were finally seated. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, but our food came out cold and was disgusting. Very pricey for fast food restaurant quality plates. And what's with the title "family" dining and you don't even have a changing table in the bathroom. I'll be sure to never visit again and will certainly spread the word.
(1)Sue Z.
Oh my. Be sure to wear maternity pants- even the men. We went here for lunch and it was amazing. Try the buffalo shrimp appetizer or the sautéed scallops. For a true snug fit in the maternity pants- add the fried shrimp appetizer. Service was wonderful. Homemade slaw and tarter sauce were delicious. It was so good I wanted to propose- to my scallops. Enjoy!
(5)BeachHouseSea P.
We won't be back to this one... Made mistake again.didnt ask for a reference .should have known funny smell was a sign...stir fry Hawaiian plate...looked like a blob and tasted like a blob..I ordered shrimp po boy and it was just not ok... Too expensive and terrible quality.. Server was great... She was very attentive and kept checking on us... Server can't makeup for food quality.."
(1)Dewayne M.
Pros: Delicious seafood at a fair price and a menu with variety. Jumbo shrimp are incredible. Cons: crowded (what lobby?) Hush puppies were a why-bother, not very good. Crab cakes also not very good. Overall: above average and would go again
(4)Cynara S.
Went with a super large group for a Family Reunion. Considering our crowd, they did a great job serving us. We especially enjoyed the seafood pasta dishes. A sister company to The Shrimp Basket which is a block away, Mikee's maybe a great option when the weather is too bad to sit outside.
(3)Jeff S.
Food was great. Service great. Place was hoppin. We'll be back.
(5)Jan I.
Mikee's offers fresh seafood, several selections - last night I had Mahi-Mahi and my husband had triggerfish. Both of us had it blackened - nice to have choices other than fried! The corn fritters were yummy and the veggies were perfectly crisp tender. The prices were very reasonable and overall we were very happy with good food at a good value.
(4)Jessica R.
I vacation in Gulf Shores, AL every summer. Mikee's is my favorite place to eat. I love the corn fritters, the parmesan tomatoes and the buffalo shrimp.
(5)Michael P.
Excellent choice for seafood in Gulf shores. Many choices of fish for "catch of the day" option... I would also recommend the new potatoes.
(4)Ann W T.
Good food. Had Bay Shrimp over rice with a side of Corn Fritters. Yummy!!! But our waitress was a bit on the ditsy side. Gave us another table's ticket!!!

Potato skins were not skins . Baked oysters were not done, only warm. Crab claws tasted fishy or either no taste. Fried shrimp ok. BBQ shrimp ok at best. Royal Reds were good.

Slightly above average food. Decent service and moderate wait times. Nothing outstanding but a good place to eat. Love the corn fritters and daquiris.
